I can FINALLY see the silver lining!

Well they say every cloud has a silver lining and I've been looking for one for quite sometime...finally today I have seen it. My new Job is fantastic...there couldn't be a more perfect job in terms of pay, location and prospects.

Everything in the end was worth it, all the upset and hurt and it all came out good in the end...everything DOES happen for a reason...and losing my job at Myerscough just gave me an opportunity for better things.

I am now a trainee Veterinary Nurse, and I get paid MORE that I did as an Instructor, with MORE holidays and better hours. Its also a better job and in it location is fantastic not only for been with Jake now but also for when he goes to Chester Uni next year

For the first time in months things have finally turned around and I finally feel that everything is going to be fine.

So to everyone who stabbed me in the back...a very BIG thankyou.

Haven't been on for a while as I've been very busy.

Firstly "HAPPY HALLOWE'EN"

I finally got to finish my toad tank...woooooo!

I also finally got a Job....A BOSS job at that!
I am now a Student Veterinary Nurse at Leahurst Small Animal Teaching Hospital...!
I have also started building our website and company.
We even agreed on a name...

Toads, Toads and Toads

So...I'm still patiently waiting for the Royal Mail to sort themselves out and finally get around to delivering the stuff I ordered weeks ago to upgrade my toads home.

It quite annoying really,
my very small room (commonly known as 'the cupboard') is getting a little over crowded with equipment for this new project.
I currently have an empty exo terra tank,
(measuring 45x45x45 cm)

A pond liner, a bag of hydroleca, a large bag of pebbles, a small fish tank filter, some aquarium sealent, forest bed, 4 large peices of bogwood, 5 Vivarium plants, a exo terra UV hood, UV bulbs, a waterfall and pump, 2 peices of cork bark, and a silocone tube.

All that money...all that stuff!
and my poor toads are still in there tiny plastic viv!
The one thing I needed to order of the internet is the one thing I can't start the tank without.

Big, Becci and Boo

The last few days I have been waking up with a pounding headache, Its not fair...I think I'm coming down with something. Yesterday I felt really rough, and now my nose is all blocked...I don't wanna be ill!

About 10 minutes after writing Fridays 'update' blog I got the best suprise...Jake knocked on my front door. I wasn't expecting him till that evening but there had been some sort of mix up with the college bus and he had got the train straight to mine to suprise me.

He then came to meet Jason Donovan with me!

I was so excited, we had to que for ages but it was well worth it. I bought the book to be signed and sttod reading it in the que whilst Jake looked round the Trafford Centre. I didn't think it was fair to make him stand around waiting for someone he could bearly remember. He came back about 10 minutes later and gave me a bag from HMV...he had gone a bought Jason Donovans Greatest Hits for me to get signed. He then stood in the que with me and went up to meet him and get the CD signed. I got my Photo took, aswell as my book signed and a kiss

I thought I was going to faint...lol

We spent all day Saturday visiting different Reptile shops in the Manchester area.
We were on the hunt for Toad equipment.
I bought loads, even managed to find a compact UV hood for my exoterra tank, which is great cos it looks dead good and you could only get them in america.
Still missing a few things I need but did manage to get TWO new Toads! Who have settled in well with the others.

Jake also bought another Python for breeding.
Its a lovely thing and He called it Boo.
So now we have Big, Becci and Boo.

Been thinking of naming my Toads but can't think of anything appropriate!

Sunday was a poo day. I felt rubbish.
and there was a lot of tension in the house.
I felt like I wasn't wanted here and really uncomfortable.
I kept getting really upset and basically spent the day locked in my room, trying to stay out the way.
I felt really bad for Jake cos it was directed at him too.
I will have to see what its like tonight...but I don't feel like I wanna be here any more.

Busy, Busy...bee

It's been a very busy week,

hence why I haven't posted a blog for a while.
So here's an update...

Last weekend:
Had a fantastic time,
Went to meet Jake in Manchester and managed to turn the head of a Manchester United Football player.

Have no idea which one but Jake had been sat talking to him on the train, apparently he was off on a night out.
We had dinner and then watched a Russian Film!

The film ended up been really good,
I was abit unsure about going to see it but I'm glad I did.

I enjoyed just spending time together like a normal couple,
it was great to intermitly chat over dinner,
and cuddle up during the film.

Sunday we took a trip to Manchester Pets and Aquatics.
I'm never very impressed with that place, but its cheep!
They had Toads...but stopped myself from buying them.

Met Jakes mate...Lee,
he seems nice.

Tuesday:
I finally got my Student Loan!

So...
I went shopping!!
I got myself a gorgeous pair of knee high boots.
and bought Jake a Hugo Boss T-shirt,
and a ring.
I just wanted to show him how much I appreciate him and what he has done for me over the past few months.

Wednesday:
I went to college!
Was only a tutorial...not very exciting.
I have less than 3 weeks to hand in my first assignment!
Pete went to Batleys Pet Wholesales for me,
and picked me up a Exo-Terra tank for my toads new home.
£26 it cost...they are £59.99 in Pet Shops!

Thursday:
Got my new Tattoo...

I love it...and I got it to remind me of Jake!
But he doesn't like it!

Today I'm off to meet the mighty Jason Donovan,

and I am so excited.
Then Jake is coming over because we are doing a trip to loads of pet shops tomorrow so we can sort out my new tank.
Its gonna be a proper little ecosystem.
I have all these amazing ideas.

Its gonna be boss.

A Good Start To The Month!

The first FIVE days have been great and
I hope it stays like this.
I'm feeling a lot less stressed and a lot more positive.

On Tuesday I finally managed to successfully get enrolled at Uni,
(even though I have been attending lessons for 3 weeks)
Woo...I'm a Student!
Loads of discounts and I will soon have my student loan!

I went to college on Wednesday, and I had a great time.
I felt all intellectual!
Me and Jake went for a lovely lunch in a nice little cafe.
And he even got to come home with me.

I got paid on Thursday...I am a happy bunny!

Some things have been playing on my mind,
A few forgotten things have been brought back to light,
A lot of very painful memories.
But I think I'm finally putting these things behind me.

I saw a woman on the TV (trisha) before and she said she was 26,
She looked so old!
I'm still getting asked for ID in the pub!
I am so glad I look a lot younger than I am.

Annoyed by some peoples attitudes...

Yesterday I was on the forum browsing through the threads...as I do.

(where Jake and I tend to sell and buy our exotics from)

I came across a thread warning people about the RSPCA!
I was so mad...I read the 18 pages of comments from people on the forum that are supposed to be 'for the care' and welfare of animals and I was so disappointed at the reactions these people had.

I do agree that the RSPCA do sometimes get in wrong, and the inspectors are just normal people trying to do what the can for animals. Only a few will have any specialist knowlede about keeping animals such as reptile and amphibians, and therefore will need to 'refer' to others for this information. But if you think of all the good the organisation has done? All the animal cruelty they have stopped and prevented.

You would think that these people would be trying to help the RSPCA stop animal cruelty. Or are they just intrested in their precious reptiles and not bothered about the cruelty that is happening all over the world. Some also had coments about other organisations such as DEFRA.
If these organisations did not exsist then animal legislations would not have been made.
People would be allowed to make dogs fight and rip each other apart.
Kids would be allowed to 'nail' a cat to a fence and torcher it to death.
(yes this actually happened near me)
People would miss treat animals!
I am so mad!

It also maddens me when people are posting things such as

And leopard geckos can go blind if they are exposed to UV - but I have heard of a number of RSPCA inspectors recommending that all lizards including the nocturnal leos have UVB light bulbs.

Information that is actually wrong!
Leopard Geckos do not need a UV source but they certainly won't go blind if you give them one!

Thats my rant for the day.

A List for Santa....

So, again Christmas is creeping up on us fast. Its now only 12 weeks away and has been popping into conversations for the last couple of weeks.

I'm personally rubbish at Christmas shopping, I always leave it until the very last minute. I'm the person you normally see running round like a lunatic on Christmas Eve trying to buy presents for every member of my family just before the shops close. Every year I swear I'm going to start my shopping early, I see my sister eyeing up potental Christmas gifts as early as March. But I'm sure, for me, this years shopping strategy will be no different to all the rest.

Yesterday I was asked, by my Other Half, "to make a list for Santa". I had said previously that I normally don't get what I really want for Christmas. My parents give me money...that I normally end up wasting, and the rest tend to be small bits and pieces that lay around the place until I store them away never to be seen again or worse sell them on ebay!

So this is my list to Santa hoping that this year i atleast get things that are useful.

Dear Santa,

This year for Christmas I would like:

1. Jason Donovan Autobiography.

And OMG...
I was looking for this pic and found out that he will be doing book signings...

I know i'm not seriously going to get all that...
...but hey a girl can try.
I'm sure I can update this when I think of other stuff!

I think everyone should do this to avoid confusions and people getting rubbish they don't want for Christmas. I wonder how many people get things they don't want, let these things clutter the house for year and then either: Give them to other people for Christmas or sell them on Ebay!! If everyone made a list that had both big things and little things then people could have more of an idea...this is my theory anyway. And it would save the endless trips around shops, not knowing what to buy and then phoning family members (who say..."well I don't really know"), then slowly giving up the will to live! This is from experience!

I'm probably coming across abit spoilt now so I'll quit while I'm ahead...lol

Inside I'm really shy...I have to force myself to be confident.
I'm not always happy...but I always try to smile.

I don't think I'm very pretty without my makeup on.
I get very annoyed with the cloths I have in my wardrobe.
I think 'Amy Lee' is beautiful.
I love her whole look...and wish I could dress more like that

I have a real passion for photography.
I want to get a 'real' camera and start taking it more seriously.

I'm claustrophobic.
I don't like large croweds of people...and I get really freaked out.
I have a love/hate relationship with cities.
I wanna live here...

I have an obsession with shoes...I currently own over 60 pairs.
I want a pair of these...

I Love corsets and gothic clothing.
I try not to follow trends...but normally end up doing.

I grew up in the country.
I can name most wild flowers, birds, plants and animals in the UK.

I went to finishing school.

I love music...but I love it more when its quiet.

I hate food shopping.

Bad Days.....

Well yesterday turn out to be not a good day at all, and now its the weekend. I've been sent to clean my room...haha, I feel like I'm 15...lol.

After yesterdays blog I decided to cheer Jake up by sending some 'interesting' photos of myself to his phone. It started with this...

A piccy of me in his Jumper that I stole when we went away on holiday! Anyway I carried on sending but at some point the battery died on his phone....

I didnt hear from him all day...when I got home from work he was on msn, we bearly talked! I was feeling ill, lonely and sad. Later on I lost my temper with him because of the lack of communication and we argued!

I hate arguements over the phone/msn...its impossible to stop them escelating out of control...and alot easier to say things you don't mean because you can't see how much pain you're causing the other person. I didn't sleep hardly...I felt...

And very confused over everything that was said!
Yesterday was just horrible...and it was supposed to be a good day!

He did wake me this morning with a phone call telling me he loved me tho...

But again the builders have rudely woken me with there noise!

Im still annoyed that I don't have my student loan yet.
I was hoping it would suddenly appear today and the Jake could come over for the weekend.
Its gonna be a long and boring weekend.

27th Sep...I feel like giving up!

Things seem to go from bad to worse,
Everything is getting harder and harder
and I don't know how much more I can take.

I put my foot in it with Jakes mum again yesterday,
I'm begining to think that its a lost cause.
One minute I seem to be doing ok and then I mess up.
I've never been very good at talking to peoples mums.

I'm not going to see him now for ages.
Stupid Skem College fucked up enrolement,
so its going to be ages until I get my student loan.
So Jake has to stay home and work.

Its breaking my heart!
I hate having to say goodbye at the train station,
the feeling is just getting worse.

He should be here with me all the time,
I should be falling asleep in his arms and waking up to his smile.
Everyday!
It shouldn't be like this, we've already been through too much!

Instead I find myself sleeping alone
and crying because I miss him so much!

I have this constant screaming inside my head,
and it won't go away.
I'm so frustrated and angry.
and soooo bored!

Things should be easier by now.
I believe in karma but what can I have done in the past that is so bad?
Surely I don't deserve this.
I feel so bound and tied!

I have decided to transfer my online blogging from myspace to here. It seems that myspace has caused me to much pain and heartache...and as I recently only use it for the blog it only seemed sensible to move!

A bit about me...

I'm 26...although you wouldn't really believe it. I look probably around 18 and most of the time I'm acting younger than I am.
I currently live in Manchester, I've moved around alot, but Manchester is my favorite place to live.

I'm taken...
My boyfriend is amazing...I love him with all my heart.

Over the past few month have gone through a lot.
I lost my job about a month ago.
Because of this I lost my flat and had to move back to mums.
Someone caused all this to happen!
But I won't let them get to me,
and they won't get between me and Jake.

Little Interesting things about me...

I'm a student but I don't do much studying.
I dress how I wan't, according to how I feel in a morning.
I don't believe I conform to any stereotype, but feel free to label me.I really couldn't care less.

The only form of exercise I do is ballet, and I don't do it nearly as much as I should.

I hate liars and people who think it's ok to steel from others.
I hate people who judge, and mess with peoples personal lives.

If I get bitchy with you and treat you badly, It means I care about you. Really.
When I perceive I'm being taken for granted by someone I have some sort of feeling for, I come unglued.
And regret it later.I have pushed MANY people away from me due to this. I react horribly to the stupidest things.

Music is a big thing for me...my ipod is with me 24/7 and I don't think I could live without it.

When I hear a song I like I do silly little dances, doesn't matter where I am...I just dance.

I do like to read, but I have a horrible habit of starting a book, getting half way into it, then starting another. I have a huge pile of unfinished books, and it really annoys me.

I daydream and make stories up in my head all day. If I see someone interesting, I make up their life history in my head.
